Ol' Boy started as an Appalachian hip-hop group and grew into one man wearing three hats: the music, the merch under Appalachia's Finest, and the Ol' Boy Initiative, a 501(c)(3) that has been feeding and educating the people since "Feed the People" launched at 123 Pleasant St in 2014.

It started in 2014 as "Feed the People", a music-based benefit at 123 Pleasant St while Chy was in college. A decade on, it is a registered nonprofit turning shows into meals, school supplies, and social-development work across the Appalachian area. Every door, every set, gives back.
